Achievement Unlocked began with a simple idea: everyday life deserves better rewards.
I’m Alan—a husband, father, grandfather, Army veteran, lifelong gamer, fantasy fan, coffee enthusiast, and collector of far too many interests to fit neatly into one character class. I grew up loving the stories, games, movies, and music that turn ordinary moments into adventures. Whether you’re defeating a boss, surviving a meeting that should have been an email, welcoming a new member of the family, or simply becoming functional after your first cup of coffee, I believe those victories deserve to be celebrated.
This shop brings all of that together.
My designs are inspired by gaming achievements, fantasy adventures, office absurdity, family milestones, books, coffee, and the wonderfully strange things people say to one another when they’ve known each other long enough. Some are heroic. Some are heartfelt. Some are sarcastic. Most are at least a little geeky.
The small dragon appearing throughout the Achievement Collection is Kaladin, named after my much-loved dog and promoted—without his knowledge or consent—to official shop mascot. He watches over every quest, guards the coffee supply, and accepts payment primarily in treats.
Many of these designs began as jokes shared with my own family. That remains the test for everything I create: Would someone I love laugh when they opened it? Would it make them feel understood? Would it become the mug they reach for every morning?
