Good morning, all!Â
Apparently, we have decided that there are not enough questionable life choices being commemorated on coffee mugs.Â
So, naturally, we fixed that. Our newest collection is Achievements Nobody Asked For, a celebration of those little moments in life that probably don't deserve an achievement, but somehow feel like they should have one anyway.Â
Did you walk into a room and immediately forget why you were there?Â
Achievement Unlocked.Â
Did you finally clear the dishes from the sink, only to discover that they apparently have a respawn timer?Â
Achievement Unlocked.Â
Is the laundry pile approaching the point where it should have its own name and appear on topographical maps?Â
You guessed it.Â
The idea for this collection actually started with Drooly & Unruly, and somewhere along the way we realized there was an entire category of everyday absurdity waiting to be celebrated.Â
The collection has a brighter, slightly retro look compared with some of our other designs. There is something about it that reminds me of the wonderfully colorful educational cartoons I grew up with—only with considerably less educational value.Â
Which seems appropriate.
We've already expanded the collection into the important milestones of adulthood, parenthood, pet ownership, housework, reheating the same cup of coffee for the third time, and generally surviving the completely ordinary nonsense of daily life. And we're just getting started.Â
So here's to the victories nobody was tracking, the accomplishments nobody requested, and the trophies absolutely nobody earned.Â
Achievements Nobody Asked For. Because apparently even failure to put away the laundry deserves a mug.Â
Enjoy! — AlanÂ
